Quick About Us The Dustbusters
Softball Team plays in the Guelph No-Sox League. Our Team
started back in 1978 originally as The Co-operators co-ed Baseball Team, managed by Dave Thiel.
Over the years, the team has evolved, gaining new players and losing old friends. Special mention
goes out to Muriel who played on our team for more than 10 years. A League Trophy has been
named in her honour.
Currently, John and Scott are the only remaining original players on the team.
Our team won the League Championship and Tournament Championship in 2003 and followed up with
another League Championship in 2004.
We are aiming to be the 2011 Champs.

How We Got Our Name
Legend
has it that our once nameless team put out a request to the players to come up with a name.
One of the players suggested the name
'Dustbusters' because, as he put it, "We Suck".
The rest is history!
